Spark plug adjustment tool for Federal Mogul 18GZ44 / FB78WPN with a 0,35 mm adjusting pin. Depending on the type of application, it may become necessary to change the default electrodegap of 0.35 mm

• Electrode gap between 0.25 mm and 0.35 mm for natural gas operation.
• Electrode gap between 0.40 mm and 0.60 mm for fermentation gas operation.

As a result of erosion of the spark plug electrodes during operation of the engine, the gap betweenthe center electrode and the ground electrode of the spark plugs steadily widens, and above acertain gap this can lead to misfirings as it is no longer possible to generate ignition sparks. Cleaning the spark plugs and readjusting the spark plug electrode gap can extend the service life ofthe spark plug up to its wear limit.
