15700144 – Murphy Level Swichgage – L150-BC

The L150-BC Level Swichgage® instrument is a combination liquid level gauge and low limit switch;the instrument includes (1) achamber with pivotal float, (2) an indicating dial with pointer, and (3) alow-levelcontact. When properly installed and maintained, the float operates the pointer which, inturn, both indicates level during normal operation, and closes a switching circuit if the level falls tothelow limitset point. The L150-BC features a field adjustable set point and a back connection. Theunit can be mounted away from the engine for protection from vibration and extreme heat. The setpoint can be adjusted at any time.The primary use of the L150-BC is for engine cooling systems, surge or expansion tanks, condenserradiator or vapor phase systems, pressurized or atmospheric systems. The L150-BC Liquid LevelSwichgage® instrument can also be used to monitor lube oil, hydraulic fluid or diesel fuel reservoirsand activate alarms and/or shut-down at a predetermined minimum level. This instrument is built forlow pressure systems with a maximum of 25 psi (172 kPa) [1.72 bar]
