Most IMPCO air valve carburetors use diaphragms made of various materials such as synthetic rubber, silicone, hydrin and fiberglass. Impco silicone diaphragm material is the optional upgrade material that provides excellent flexibility in cold weather climates and is more resistant to chemical contamination.
